Our pilot Luke Pagano gains his Command Instrument Rating!

A big congratulations to our pilot Luke Pagano who recently gained his Command Instrument Rating following 5 weeks of intensive training at Rotor-lift in Tasmania.

In addition to his current role flying twin engine day VFR (Visual Flight Rules) Luke will commence flying Co Pilot, Twin Engine under IFR (Instrument Flight Rules).

Luke commented that “My time at Rotor-lift was a steep learning curve however the experience and instruction gained from the team at Rotor-lift will be invaluable as my career progresses. I am looking forward to the opportunities that lie ahead flying HMPT for our operations in Hydrographers Passage”

Luke’s continued development through to IFR Captain will be managed by our Senior Base Pilot, Garry Cochrane.

Once again, well done Luke!
