AW109 VH XUM prepares for first flight following fitment of floats
Our AW109, registration VH-XUM is now fitted with floats for our offshore operations conducting HMPT (Helicopter Marine Pilot Transfers).
Gary Hunter, General Manager for Flyon commented,
” Since commencement of our operations in December 2016 we took the decision to only operate twin engine aircraft 24/7. In addition we have now moved to fit floats to our 2 primary AW109’s. Our 2nd AW109, VH ZCF will also shortly undergo a major refurbishment and inspection at Agusta Leonardo’s facility in Melbourne. Upon return we will have 2 float fitted aircraft dedicated to our operations in Hydrographers Passage”
